Eligibility Criteria – Who Qualifies

Steps to Apply

  1. Complete the official SheRises Application Form (online or downloadable).
  2. Attach required document – Last term school report
  3. Write a short essay (Max1,000 words) on “How climate change affects my community and what can be done.” 
  4. Submit via school liaison or email to info@konsonaid.org 
  5. Receive acknowledgement and await notification.

Scholarship Value & Benefits

Annual Value

GHS 3,000 per girl (average from pilot budget)

Coverage

1. School levies & exam fees
2. Uniforms, books, and learning materials
3. Stationery and menstrual hygiene kits
4. Transport and/or feeding support (where needed)
5. Mentorship, life skills, and eco-club activities

Post-Award Obligations

  • Maintain good academic standing (≥ 70 % average).
  • Participate in mentorship and eco-club activities.
  • Submit termly progress reports and attend life skills sessions.
  • Engage in community service or school climate projects.
  • Serve as peer mentor for future applicants after graduation.

  • District Assemblies, Chiefs & Traditional Leaders, Local JHS Schools.
